As a business owner, when is the last time you evaluated your company’s assets? When you do so, do your employees come to mind? They certainly should! In fact, your employees are your company’s greatest asset.
An Asset to Our Clients
Service-based businesses like Alfano & Company thrive on strong, long-lasting relationships with their clients. That’s why in 2017, once we realized the need for a team member who could perform vital administrative tasks while also keeping our clients both satisfied and happy, we found Jocelyn! Prior to accepting her position at Alfano & Company, Jocelyn worked in the customer service field for eight years. As one of our customer relations experts Jocelyn is quick to respond to the questions and needs of our clients.
An Asset to Our Firm
In addition to making sure our clients are cared for, Jocelyn also ensures that the internal operations of our office are running smoothly. Jocelyn’s exemplary demeanor is another contributing factor that makes her an
asset to our firm. She is both calm and professional in her dealings with other team members. This
promotes a “drama-free” work environment, which helps us to fulfill our roles and complete our work more efficiently.
As you can likely tell, Jocelyn’s position at Alfano & Company requires a strict adherence to detail. It’s a skill she acquired from learning how to sew clothing – one of her favorite pastimes. And like any native Californian, Jocelyn loves going to the beach. “Whenever I visit my family in California,” Jocelyn says, “I HAVE to go to the beach at least once, no matter what time of the year it is!” She appreciates the flexibility of the off-tax season work schedule available to her at Alfano & Company so that she can do just that!
Although tax season can be quite taxing (pun intended) for most people, Jocelyn knows just how-to de-stress – she relies on Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccinos, K-Dramas, and fun nights with friends in New York City. Post-tax season, though, Jocelyn is content by even just the thought of springs arrival! She especially enjoys the late spring because she says, “It’s finally warm again after the long, cold, winter and all of the
trees finally come back to life!” No doubt many of us feel the same!
As you can see, the contribution our employees make to our business is priceless. If you’d like to get to know the rest of the team and how they can help you with your accounting, tax, and advisory needs, click here.
